Abstract:
The Hon. Sir Yang Ti-liang, former Chief Justice of Hong Kong. Before his retirement, he has served as Member of the HKSAR Executive Council, Lord President of the Court of Appeal of Negara Brunei Darussalam, Magistrate, Senior Magistrate, Rockefeller Fellow of London University, District Judge of District Court as well as the Justice of Appeal.

Sir Yang was the chairman of numerous organizations, including Exchange Fund Investment Ltd, Queen Mary Hospital Charity Trust Fund, The HK Red Cross, ICAC Complaints Committee, University and Polytechnic Grants Committee, HK University Council, Pro-Chancellor, HK University, etc. In 2009 he was made a member of the Advisory Committee of the Law School of the Chinese University of HK and Honorary Professor of Law.
