Detail: Groups of up to 14 volunteers are invited to participate in Work Camps held throughout the year. Volunteers will gain practical experience through participating in the following areas of RUCHI’s project work:

  • Construction of Irrigation and Ferro-cement Tanks for Rainwater Harvesting
  • Development and Protection of Natural Springs
  • Working with School Children
  • Nursery raising and Planting Trees and their Maintenance
  • Repairs and renovation works
  • Cultural Exchange
  • Organisational capacity development

Background: A Work Camp is a voluntary service project of 2-week duration which provides volunteers with an opportunity to foster international dialogue and friendship.
