Name of Organisation: The Green Earth
Details: The Green Earth (TGE) is a charitable organisation formed by a group of veteran environmental activists and educators in 2016. By spreading the core value “CHERISH THE EARTH” through policy advocacy, community education and corporate partnership programmes, TGE aims to nurture the seeds of caring for the earth and to walk with Hong Kong people on the path of sustainability through public education and community mobilization with the missions as follows:-
- Facilitating action by igniting green energy throughout our community
- Promoting resource conservation and a zero-waste culture by changing attitudes
- Turning Hong Kong into a healthy green city
