Detail: Volunteers are a huge asset in these settings as a lot of the time the teachers need some support. Volunteers are required to teach English and Maths and are encouraged to play games and teach songs at break time.

Background: Nursery schools are quite numerous in Moshi and are set up to prepare the children for primary school. They provide a setting for the children to begin learning Basic English and Kiswahili.
