The planning initiatives of the Conceptual Master Plan of Kowloon East aim to respect industrial heritage of this area in the urban transformation process with a vision to integrate the industrial heritage with commercial and cultural development in Kowloon East.
To facilitate and enrich findings of the Study, EKEO has launched a public engagement campaign entitled “Sharing Memoirs and Extending Legacy in Transforming Kowloon East” from 1 March to 31 May 2013. The public is invited to share stories and donate photos, products and machines with interesting industrial heritage value related to Kowloon East.
