Name of Organisation: S.K.H. St. Christopher’s Home
Introduction: Sheng Kung Hui St. Christopher’s Home, founded in 1935 by the late Bishop R.O. Hall in Taipo, began as an orphanage taking care of homeless children. In 1993, following the instigation of new welfare policies, the Home moved from Taipo to various housing estates located all over the territories. Today, the Home is the largest non-governmental organization in Hong Kong providing small group home service for children who cannot receive adequate family care.
