Rihanna is a singer and actress who debuted in 2005 with the album “Music of the Sun”. With over 230 million worldwide record sales and numerous trophies from Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and many other accolades, the singer is undoubtedly one of the most successful artists.
Rihanna was inspired to do goods at a young age after seeing children suffer in a television program. She started the Believe Foundation in 2006 in the hope of helping children with fatal diseases as well as those in poverty around the world by providing medical supplies as well as funding education programs. In 2012, Rihanna founded the Clara Lionel Foundation (CLF) which aims at tackling poverty and education of the disadvantaged. The foundation built a cancer screening and treatment center in the singer’s hometown and launched the Clara Lionel Foundation Scholarship Program for students from Caribbean countries studying abroad in America.
The singer is also one of the fundraisers of UNICEF, German Bone Marrow Donor Center and ambassador of 2007 Cartier LOVECHARITY Bracelet. In addition to her concerns about poverty and medical supports in less developed regions, Rihanna also supports charities focusing on disaster relief, human rights and environmental issues.
