Details: Pink Revolution is the city`s largest and most comprehensive breast cancer awareness and fundraising campaign in conjunction with the international month for breast cancer awareness. This year, the event targets to raise HK$1.8 million towards Cancer Fund`s ongoing breast cancer care services, as well as valuable research undertaken in Hong Kong.
Background: Breast cancer is the number one cancer affecting Hong Kong women; this campaign is vital in boosting awareness and encouraging women to be breast aware. All funds raised goes towards Cancer Fund`s “Free Breast Cancer Support Services”, including vital counselling, peer support, nursing guidance, rehabilitation support, self-esteem programmes and complementary therapies.
