Organization: ORBIS Hong Kong
Introduction: ORBIS Hong Kong contributes to the fight against global blindness in several different ways. While most work involves raising funds and building public awareness, ORBIS Hong Kong also invite local ophthalmologists andorthoptists as medical volunteers to travel all around the world in conducting training sessions, eye examinations and check-ups. The majority of ORBISprojects concentrates on avoidable blindness among children and devotes much of its efforts to the treatment and prevention of an array of eye-related diseases and conditions.
