Abstract:
Leslie Cheung (12 September 1956 – 1 April 2003) is an internationally renowned actor and singer from Hong Kong. Cheung has been recognized as one of the most successful Asian artists. He was voted the third of the CNN’s Top Five Most Iconic Musician of All Time placing behind Michael Jackson and The Beatles.
Throughout his busy schedule, however, Cheung was helping numerous charitable causes, especially those concerned with children’s welfare, particularly the Children’s Cancer Foundation and The End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation. Upon his death in 2003, Cheung’s international fans has established Red Mission on behalf of him, aiming to continue his desire to spread the love to the needs.
