American artist Lawrence Argent exhibited a 15-meter tall giant Panda in Chengdu, China. Mr. Argent gives this creation rich connotation and meaning, “I am Here” which comes into being to break the barrier between the serious commercial world and people. “The panda declares its presence and gives the art installation social meaning for thought, hence making ourselves think about our presence and reflecting on thought-provoking social significance.” He said.
20 world-renowned celebrities/ fashion designers/ artists such as Aaron Kwok, Maggie Cheung, Zhou Xun, Yohji Yamamoto and Paul Smith are invited by renowned expository organisers AllRightsReserved to design their own pandas HE-ART to be auctioned. “I am Here” project also offers 20cm-tall mini pandas for charity sale, the first patch of pandas is limited to 1,000 pieces (RMB 500 each). All the proceeds will benefit The China Conservation and research Centre For The Giant panda.
