This program aims to promote a multi-cultural Hong Kong, foster understanding and collaboration among youth from different ethnic backgrounds. Together, we can create a society with cultural diversity through the 4-stage program:
Stage 1: YO! Cultural Ambassador
Stage 2: HEY! Hong Kong Walking Tour
Stage 3: GO! Singapore
Stage 4: WOW! Cultural Star
Stage 1: YO! Cultural Ambassador
There are five training sessions to develop your skills. The following aspects, including activities, games, drama, and discussions, will be covered:
Self-understanding, Personal Dimensions®training, Story collection and Story-telling skills, Drama experience, Communication skill, Leadership, Team collaboration
Dates of training: 14th, 21st, 22nd January 2017, 4th and 5th February 2017
Duration of each training session: 10:00 – 17:30 (Including lunch break)

Stage 2: HEY! Hong Kong Walking Tour
You will work in teams to design, organize and perform cultural walking tours and workshops in Chai Wan, Wan Chai, and Sham Shui Po areas. Through leading the tours, you will be able to make new friends, meet and interact with people from different age, gender and cultural backgrounds. Also, you can learn and share your culture, at the same time, gain more knowledge about others’ culture.
Period of walking tours and workshops: Saturday / Sunday (March – June 2017)
Stage 3: GO! Singapore
You will have a valuable opportunity to visit Singapore (5 days 4 nights) for FREE! Through this tour, you will be able to visit well-known National University of Singapore, which is one of the best universities in Asia, exchange with Singaporean youth, participate in community exploration tasks and cultural tours, etc. This Singapore multi-cultural study tour would provide you the amazing opportunity to explore the multi-cultural side of Singapore, expand your network internationally, enhance your global vision, and get to know the best practices of constructing a multi-cultural city invarious sectors and the methods to promote cultural diversity.
Period: Summer 2017 (Tentative dates: July 24 – 28)

Stage 4: WOW! Cultural Star
You will have the opportunity to co-organize a multi-cultural event to share your learning experience with your family, friends and teachers as well as the general public in Hong Kong so to enhance the cultural understanding of each other living in this Asia’s world city. Outstanding team(s) will be supported financially to realize your multi-cultural actions.
