Do you want to help underprivileged children in developing countries by twisting balloons? Plan International’s “Because I am a Girl- Donate a Pencil” campaign will be held in October and they now recruiting volunteers to help raise public awareness of girls’ issues and those twist balloon models as gifts for our supporters.
Plan international will provide free balloon twisting classes for interested volunteers, during which a professional teacher will teach you the skills and techniques of balloon twisting. You will learn to twist popular balloon models including a dog, a machine gun, a crown, and a lollipop.
As a token of appreciation, you will receive a certificate upon the completion of the volunteer service .
Workshop Details:
Date : 27 Sept (Tue) or 30 Sept (Fri)
Time : 3pm – 5pm or 7pm – 9pm
Location : Plan International Hong Kong’s office,
Room 201, Marina House, 68 Hing Man Street, Shau Kei Wan, Hong Kong
Requirements: Participants should be 18 years old or above and commit to attend at least 2 balloon twisting sessions (2.5 hrs per session) during the event between 6 Oct to 10 Oct
