Details: HKD$3,300 per volunteer per day. All donations will be used to cover the cost of building materials, contractor & worker services, tools and logistic arrangements; and also all program, event, public relations, resource development and administration costs, etc.
Background: The wealth gap in society keeps widening and there are still numerous people living in narrow and dilapidated houses. Therefore, Habitat for Humanity China will launch the “Green Joyful Home for Disabled” program in August 2012, in hopes of providing basic home renovation and enhancement services for 120 low-income individuals and families with disabilities.
Duration: August 2012 – June 2014 (a 6-day volunteer-service activity every 2 months)
