Affordable housing is a challenge globally faced today, with about 235 million households worldwide suffering from housing poverty. Coming from a family with real estate & property development background, Indian lady Rhea founded Chototel, with a vision to deliver a product that will help change the way the world houses its people.
She made her start-up in social enterprise. Chototel provides affordable housing for low-income families and is making small steps in reducing homelessness, with expansion into the Indian market and other Asian countries. Her target is to supply 1pc of the world’s demand for affordable housing by 2025 and build 5 million super-budget hotel rooms in the next decade.
