Details: Participants can choose to join the 10km Charity Run or Charity Walk. Enrollment is based on a first-come-first-served basis.
Background: Agency for Volunteer Service (AVS), a non-profit organization founded in 1970, is dedicated to playing a proactive and pivotal role in the promotion and development of sustainable volunteerism. AVS develops partnership with all sectors of the community to provide value-added and quality volunteer service for building a caring community and civil society. Riding on the success of the AVS Charity Walk for Volunteering held in last year, AVS continue to hold “AVS Charity Walk and Run for Volunteering” this year, so as to raise fund of HK$650,000 for promotion of volunteerism and development of sustainable service.
