Abstract:
Starting his career as dancer, Aaron Kwok is a famous singer and actor in Hong Kong as well as Asia. He has been active since the 1980s. He has a great success in music industry and won a number of awards. He also starred in various movies. Kwok was the winner of Best Leading Actor award for his role in the film Divergence at Taiwan’s 42nd Golden Horse Awards ceremony in 2005. It was Kwok’s first Golden Horse nomination. He again won the Best Actor Award again at the 43rd Golden Horse Awards on 24 November 2006 for his role in the film AFTER THIS OUR EXILE.
Kwok has been involved in a number of charitable activities, and has served as an ambassador for a number of causes including environmental protection, education, and children’s causes, currently he is the ambassador of UNICEF. Kwok was awarded as one of World Best Artist in 2000 and the Hong Kong’s Ten Outstanding Young Persons in 2003.
