On July 1st, AsianNGO is launching a new, pioneering media platform designed to help and inform NGOs and development professionals in the Asia-Pacific region.
With the belief in “Discover, Connect, Empower” AsianNGO seeks to capacitate NGOs and provide them with the right resources for sustainable growth. The main media channel of AsianNGO is a web portal which allows users to find available funds that match their areas of work and search for new partners. Users can also benefit from various learning assets for better organizational management and search for upcoming events. In addition, AsianNGO releases a bi-monthly magazine with news and policy updates from the development sector across the Asia-Pacific, as well as a weekly e-newsletter with the latest grants and upcoming events.
Mr Sreenivas “Sreeni” Narayanan, publisher of AsianNGO says that “in particular we want to capacitate and be able to build relations between small, local NGOs in the region with funding and grants providers across the globe in order for them to maximize opportunities for positive, sustainable impact in their works.”
The organization behind AsianNGO is Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST); a non-stock, non-profit capacity building NGO headquartered in the Philippines, with offices in India and Vietnam.
