Many of the films highlight how individuals can make a difference, alleviating the plight of people displaced by war, conflict, human right abuse or natural disaster.

Background: UNHCR is governed by the UN General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). The UNHCR Executive Committee, composed of 78 members, approves the agency’s biennial programmes and the corresponding budget.
